Copper uses
Due to copper's high electrical conductivity and malleability, there are a plethora of uses for it. These include electronics, such as electromagnets, cathode ray tubes, and integrated circuits. It has also been used in architecture as a water-proof roofing material. Additionally, it can be used in households, such as plumbing fittings, pipes, frying pans, and guttering. It is also used as a component of coins, and in biomedical applications as bacteria will not grow on copper surfaces due to it being biostatic. So it is often used in hospitals, as well as to line the hull of ships to prevent barnacles attaching themselves.
